Chinese Use Fire for Medicinal Purposes

Apparently in Chinese traditional hospitals, fire treatment is very popular during the winter months.
The people of China believe that fire helps keep them safe from illnesses like the flu and common cold.A small cloth towel is sprayed with a flammable liquid, most probably alcohol, then set on fire and put-out with another cloth. The patients that undergo this treatment claim it isn’t painful.
